Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Supplier Development Leader to join our Data Centers Americas segment. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for building and scaling a robust, high-quality, and agile supply chain to support our explosive growth in North America. You will partner with strategic suppliers to enhance their capabilities, ensure their scalability aligns with our capacity investments, and drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capacity Expansion Support: Collaborate closely with supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure our supplier base can meet growing demands and facility expansions.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and drive supplier performance metrics (Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Innovation) with the Supplier Quality group. Implement corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives where necessary.
  • Operational Readiness & Audits: Conduct on-site evaluations of supplier capacity, staffing, tooling, and process stability to ensure they can sustain volume ramps and New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • Supplier Development & Recovery: Lead targeted development engagements for critical or at-risk suppliers. Execute structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and enforce Corrective and Preventive Actions.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential supply chain vulnerabilities within the Americas region and develop proactive contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted production of mission-critical cooling equipment.
  • Process Optimization: Champion lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies within the supplier base to drive cost reductions and operational efficiencies.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work seamlessly with Engineering, Materials, Procurement, and Quality teams to align supplier capabilities with NPI activities.


Required Education & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, supplier quality engineering, or supplier development, preferably within a configured to order or engineered to order business.
  • 2+ years in capacity modeling and operational diagnostics
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes.
  • Proven track record of applying Lean/Six Sigma principles to resolve complex supplier quality and capacity challenges.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
