Supplier Quality Specialist

The Supplier Quality Specialist supports supplier quality management activities, including ASL administration, supplier performance monitoring, SCARs, and Supplier Quality Agreements. Working cross-functionally, this role helps maintain supplier data, track performance, and support compliance with quality and regulatory requirements

Your role:

·         Manage supplier qualification and lifecycle activities, including supplier onboarding, Approved Supplier List (ASL) maintenance, qualification records, supplier changes, periodic reviews, and Supplier Quality Agreement administration. Ensure all supplier documentation is accurate, complete, current, and maintained within applicable quality systems.

·         Monitor supplier performance and quality compliance by collecting, analyzing, and reporting supplier quality, delivery, and compliance metrics. Identify performance trends, communicate risks, and escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders to support proactive supplier management.

·         Coordinate supplier quality issue resolution activities, including Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), investigations, and follow-up actions. Track timelines, maintain records, and support closure of supplier-related quality concerns in collaboration with internal and external partners.

·         Support and continuously improve supplier quality processes, including supplier selection and qualification, ASL management, performance monitoring, SCARs, and Supplier Quality Agreements. Maintain procedures, work instructions, templates, and forms while assisting with implementation of process enhancements that improve compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness.

·         Partner cross-functionally to ensure supplier quality compliance and audit readiness, collaborating with Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and Quality teams. Support audits, inspections, training, stakeholder guidance, and maintenance of supplier records to ensure alignment with regulatory, quality system, and business requirements.

You're the right fit if:

• You have acquired 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, Procurement Quality, or a related function within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• You have working knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA Quality System Regulations, supplier quality processes, quality records management, supplier documentation control, and quality management systems, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or a related field. Professional quality certifications (e.g., ASQ CQE, CQA, CSSBB) are preferred but not required.
• You are highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills. You excel at collaborating across Procurement, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and supplier-facing teams, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% as required by business needs
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office-based role.

The pay range for this position in Colorado Springs, CO, Murrysville, PA, and Nashville, TN,  is  $94,000 to $150,000.

The pay range for this position in Chicago, IL, and Plymouth, MN is $99,000 to $157,000.

The pay range for this position in Bothell, WA, Cambridge, MA, and San Diego, CA is  $105,000 to $168,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
