Full Job Description
Job Title: Supplier Quality Lead

Location: Richmond, Virginia; Manassas, Virginia

Starting Compensation Range: This is a sales position eligible for a base salary plus commissions with a probable income of more than $100,000. The final compensation is negotiable and subject to candidate's experience and skills.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage quality performance of assigned suppliers
  • Review and approve issuance of supplier corrective action requests
  • Review and approve closure of supplier corrective action requests
  • Lead customer quality meetings regarding supplier failures
  • Lead supplier qualification audits and drive closure of findings
  • Establish processes with new suppliers including customer required documentation and ship loose standards
  • Manage and support customer audits and closure of findings
  • Manage proactive supplier development
  • Manage supplier recovery plans for high-risk suppliers
  • Work in coordination with team to achieve Continuous Improvement goals and objectives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
