How You'll Make an Impact
  • 40% Supplier Performance & Data Management
    • Define, monitor, and report on supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to drive performance.
    • Oversee the management of supplier quality data, ensuring data integrity and developing dashboards for KPI reporting and trend analysis.
    • Lead the data-driven resolution of complex supplier quality issues, performance gaps, and service level deviations.
    • Provide regular performance reports and data-driven insights to management and stakeholders.
  • 40% Quality Auditing & Process Optimization
    • Plan and conduct comprehensive supplier audits (process, product, system) to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards like ISO 9001.
    • Drive continuous improvement projects using methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean to optimize supplier quality processes and workflows.
    • Manage the non-conformance process, leading root cause analysis (RCA) and verifying the implementation of effective corrective actions (CAPA).
    • Act as a subject matter expert, leading strategic projects focused on the optimization of supplier quality processes.
  • 20% Strategic Supplier Development & Risk Mitigation
    • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure adherence to Siemens Energy's quality standards and policies.
    • Identify, qualify, and certify new or alternative suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks and support new product development (NPD) initiatives.
    • Coach and develop suppliers through targeted training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance their quality capabilities.
    • Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals on specific quality projects or tasks.
What You Bring

Required
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field, with proven expertise in supplier quality, industrial/manufacturing environments, and complex project ownership-bonus points for nuclear industry experience.
  • Strong expertise in Quality Management, Supplier Performance, Quality Assurance & Control, ISO 9000 standards, and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis, investigations, and risk assessment.
  • Certifications include Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification.
  • Skilled in process improvement and methodologies, including internal auditing, continuous improvement, Six Sigma, and working with SAP modules.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, thrives in matrix organizations, highly organized and meticulous, hands-on "can-do" attitude, and eager to learn and adapt continuously.
  • Experienced in global, multicultural environments with diverse stakeholders, strong English communication (German a plus), flexible for travel up to 40%, and thrives collaborating in internationally distributed teams.
