Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer I

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Starting Compensation Range: $89,000 - $115,000 per year

What You Will Do:
  • Inspect generator packages with team assistance and documentation resources
  • Evaluate nonconformance data in quality management system
  • Initiate supplier corrective action requests for severe and recurring nonconformances
  • Validate supplier corrective actions
  • Support first article inspections as a secondary auditor
  • Support supplier qualification audits through documentation collection and capturing Gemba observations
  • Pursue continuing education in new solutions, technologies, and skills
  • Work in coordination with team to achieve Continuous Improvement goals and objectives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in quality engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, preferred
  • Certification in quality methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is a plus
  • General knowledge of mechanical and electrical product designs and concepts
  • Data analysis experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent driving record
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% to various jobsites within North America, as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
