Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supplier Management Team Deputy Manager 2 (SMT) to assist with daily programmatic and Cost Account Management (CAM) duties located in Roy, Utah.

This Cost & Schedule Manager (S02) who will be an integral part of the SMT across the organization. This leader will be provide guidance and support for the Cost and Schedule Management organization with deep integration with the Business Management organization. This role is fast paced and demanding. It will require a high level of work ethic and strong strategic adaptability.

What you will get to do:

  • Support organization execution
  • Accountable for Program performance reporting, analysis, and compliance
  • Partner with and support the Program leadership team, Business Segments, Integrated Product Teams, and control account managers
  • Responsibilities include Cost and Performance deliverables, financial forecasting, support to Financial Planning and Reporting, Process Improvements, Earned Value Management implementation, and Proposal Support.
  • Accountable in support of EAC and Risk/Opportunity Assessment, Program Baselines, Auditory Compliance and Surveillances, as well as Division and Sector leadership ad hoc activities
  • Support the Senior Cost & Schedule Manager and partner with Business leadership and manage a group of Program Cost and Schedule Analysts.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate with SMTL Director
  • CAM responsibilities
  • ROM estimates/BCRs
  • R&O Management & Board Involvement
  • Manage performance to Award Fee / Incentive Fee plan w/ SCA
  • SMT task management
  • Review supplier invoices for accuracy
  • Alignment of Request for Proposal (RFP) input, negotiations, and contract definitization
  • Other duties assigned by SMT Organization

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of related experience, master’s degree and 6 years of experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance with an in-scope investigation date within the last 6 years
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and/or large supplier management portfolio experience in other industries
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
  • Integrated Master Schedule development experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Experience with program execution for cost and compliance
  • Experience managing functional teams, leading projects, budgets, schedules, quality and technical performance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Extensive knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Compliance
  • Working knowledge of EVMS Software (i.e. MPM or Cobra), Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting principles and SSI Tools
  • Experience interfacing with customers or government audit agencies such as DCMA and DCAA, as well as Internal Audit
  • The qualified candidate must be customer-focused with proven leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or large supplier management portfolio experience in other industries; OR Master’s Degree and 4 years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or large supplier management portfolio experience in other industries

Primary Level Salary Range: $139,100.00 - $208,700.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
