Position SummaryThe mission of Material Technology is to provide SAS FAB with the highest quality raw materials & analysis in the world. The Supplier Management Systems Engineer is responsible for development, improvement and maintaining engineering applications to support the Material Technology Team. They will work with Material engineers to identify and develop processes that allow improvements to performance and efficiency. Material Technology takes on responsibilities that seem beyond our scope to make things better for SAS. We generate and analyze data. We solve problems and get results. Role and ResponsibilitiesHere's What You'll Be Responsible For:- Perform routine monitoring of system usage, speed, accuracy.
- Provide automated solutions for factory quality issues to improve detectability, standardizing response, and/or streamlining tasks.
- Manage parallel projects in a dynamic environment, with conflicting priorities and changing scope.
- Identify innovative solutions to material supplier challenges and perform ROI and risk assessment for new assignments.
- Identify and drive operational improvement projects to streamline and challenge the status quo.
- Support material related FAB investigations through data analysis; provide data connections between different data storage locations.
- Complete projects with strong attention to detail; submit regular and special reports as required to support department KPI.
- Create Functional Requirement documents to explain applications developed, userguides for members to utilize applications.
Skills and QualificationsHere's what you'll need:- Bachelor of, Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or an equivalent discipline.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in scripting languages (Python, GIT, VBA).
- Data stream server knowledge (API, SQL, PostGres).
- Experience coding web apps and/or websites (Javascript, HTML, Node, react, Vue).
- Possess software organizational methods (code revision, bug patching, release notes) GIT.
The current base salary range for this role is between $106,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
