Job DescriptionThis position is a part of the Supplier Enablement team. This is an outreach position that specializes in making outbound calls to suppliers on behalf of our clients to accept a virtual credit card as a form of payment.
This person will understand and be able to describe and sell the benefits of accepting virtual credit cards in a business-to-business (B2B) environment. Maintain a high level of service satisfaction by following up on inquiries and providing required reporting on results. Perform customer contact primarily through telephone or email communication methods. Coordinate and interact with internal teams and individuals to ensure high levels of service. May work on other projects as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Five to seven years of relationship management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong sales, business development, and relationship management skills with a demonstrated ability to grow client relationships, identify opportunities, and convert prospects into customers.
Advanced knowledge of payment solutions, virtual card processing, merchant services, and CPS products and services.
Broad understanding of bank products and services, with the ability to recognize opportunities for cross-selling and expanding customer relationships.
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Proven customer service and client relationship management experience, including managing customer expectations and delivering a high level of service.
Strong telephone communication skills, including active listening, professionalism, empathy, and accuracy in customer interactions.
Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across teams, departments, and external partners to achieve business objectives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Thorough understanding of operational processes, procedures, and products/services relevant to payments and supplier enablement.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and platforms.
Experience providing consultative advice, influencing decision-making, and presenting strategies, solutions, and results to clients and stakeholders.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $98,280.00 - 120,120.00
