Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE & DATA ANALYTICS SUPPORT BRANCH - CODE 1224 of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Duties

Help

  • You will support the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Support Branch's long-range workload plans, mission funding, Working Capital Funding requirements, and performance assessments.
  • You will oversee business intelligence and analytics operations, providing both technical and administrative guidance.
  • You will review the work of subordinates, amending or rejecting work when necessary, and coordinate employee development as needed.
  • You will use automated tools to process data and create data sets for analysis and interpretation.
  • You will use dashboarding tools and develop reports, charts, and graphs to present data trends and metrics to decision-makers.
  • You will plan work for subordinates, determine priorities, and set schedules.

  • This position is covered under Public Law 114-264, the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA).
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.


Qualifications

GS-13:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing operational and business data using business intelligence and data analytics techniques to identify trends and systemic patterns and developing strategic recommendations and data-driven insights for leadership, in order to ensure informed decision-making and optimized business initiatives for shipyard operations.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
