SummaryThis position serves as a Supervisory Physical Security Specialist, in the Office of Security, reporting directly to the Director of Security. The Physical Security Division is functionally responsible for the safety and physical security of all U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) personnel, facilities, and assets, both domestic and internationally.

As a Supervisory Physical Security Specialist, you will be responsible for duties to include, but are not limited to:- Develops and implements standards for program performance to ensure alignment with agency objectives.
- Develops and implements metrics and establishes benchmarks for the Physical Security Division.
- Develops policy, recommends projects, and serves as the technical authority on all physical security developments and interpretation of physical security guidelines, policies, legislation, and regulations covering physical security operations within USAGM.
- Identifies and provides recommendations on what resources are needed for the Division's operations. Schedules program processes and sets operational priorities, to include quality and internal control measures needed to ensure functional effectiveness and efficiency.
- Supervises and ensures all activities performed within the Physical Security Division are conducted in accordance and compliance with applicable federal laws, executive orders, federal policies, and USAGM procedures.

- This is a sensitive and national security position. If selected, this position requires the completion of the SF-86.
- Suitability Determination: If selected, you will be subject to a background investigation to establish your suitability for federal employment. The background investigation may include, among other aspects, a review of your credit and legal history.
- This position is not covered by a Union Agreement.
- This position has been designated supervisory requiring that the selectee serve on an initial appointment as a supervisor or manager serve a one-year probationary period.
- This position may require serving a one-year probationary period.
- The full performance grade level for this position is GS-14.

QualificationsApplicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the
GS-13 or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector.
Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
- Managing/leading all physical security operations.
- Developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging forneeded development and training;
- Providing technical expertise in initiating and leading projects involving the evaluation of related security programs.
EducationEducation is not required for this grade level. It cannot be used for qualification purposes.
