- Responsible for leading and coordinating the daily activities and operations of the organization.
- Supervises the Maintenance Management Specialist, Maintenance Control Technicians, Administrative Support Assistant, and Tool and Parts Attendant.
- Directs the daily operation of the Facility Equipment Maintenance (FEM) Program, ensuring all work tracked via work order in FEM.
- Responsible to ensure maintenance management for Operations and Maintenance Section Projects/Facilities, and related equipment meets serviceability and readiness standards.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes coordinating the daily operations of an organization, develop and implement policies, procedures, standards and manage maintenance program for facilities including planning maintenance activities, and developing preventive maintenance program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the one lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement above using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
