About the Mission:

Are you ready to impact the future of Joint Operations? We are seeking a highly skilled Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) professional to join the Department of the Air Force Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Command, Control, Communications and Battle Management (DAF PAE C3BM) in the Joint Fires Network division. In this role, you won't just be sustaining legacy systems; your mission is to deliver an integrated DAF Battle Network-the critical systems-of-systems that provides resilient decision advantage to our warfighters.

The Role (What You'll Do):

As the PSM of Logistics, you will serve as the single point of contact and primary authority for weapon system support strategy throughout the life cycle of a major ACAT I, II, or III special interest program.

Strategic Leadership: Act as a direct report to the Senior Materiel Leader, with high-visibility opportunities to assist the Program Manager in briefing the program PAE, AF/SAQ, and HQ AFMC/A4.

Lifecycle Execution: Exercise sole responsibility for planning, organizing, and estimating costs for the comprehensive LCL plan within the parameters of PM, PAE, and OUSW approved strategies.

Innovative Problem Solving: Apply your deep understanding of Joint Force and Combatant Commands Operations, including relevant OPLANs, to identify complex sustainment problems and generate innovative solutions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Must hold or be capable of achieving the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Advanced Certification in Life Cycle Logistics (LCL).

Proven experience operating within and understanding Joint Force/Combatant Command operations and OPLANs.

Strong executive presence with the ability to coordinate across staff/line management and brief senior leaders (PAE, PEO, etc.) on controversial findings or widespread impact issues.

Additional Requirements Conditions of Employment:

This position is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP). The selectee must meet or be capable of achieving the APDP certification as designated on the position description within the defined grace period for that certification level after assignment. This position also requires the employee to engage in acquisition continuous learning activities achieving 80 Continuous Learning points every 24 months.

To comply with new OPM requirements, resumes submitted are to be no more than two pages in length.

This may be a drug testing designated position. The incumbent may be subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing.

If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement.

Relocation costs or other incentives may be available and considered by the organization.

The employee may, within 30-days of assuming this position and by 31 October annually, thereafter, by required to file an OGE-450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.

Full time telework or remote telework is not authorized for this position.

Situational telework will be authorized on case-by-case basis according to organizational internal policies.

This is a Critical Acquisition Position. Incumbent will be required to sign a written tenure agreement to remain, for a minimum of three years, in the Critical Acquisition Position.
