- You will include IT support, applications development, project management, and system design and development of ISR networks, systems and visualization/collaboration capabilities.
- You will manage a branch that utilizes computer project assignments, methods and techniques, IT support, applications development, project management planning, system design, etc.

QualificationsI have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Supervision of 15-20 personnel performing engineering, development, and system integration tasks through the full life cycle related technical functions for C4ISR projects in the H56A Intelligence and Space Systems Branch.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: As the Supervisory Information Technology (IT) Specialist, incumbent oversees or performs research on computer project
assignments that require a wide range of knowledge on computer requirements and techniques. Incumbent will serve as the senior civilian over a branch that provides support to IT systems and services.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: This involves the application of methods and techniques to store, manipulate, transform and present information by means of computer systems as directly related to the division.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Support Command initiatives focused on improving business and operations policies and implementing best practices; participate and lead Center and Department initiatives as requested by senior leadership. Ensure technical issues are resolved in a timely manner and provide mitigation strategies for issues severe in nature.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 or pay band NM-04 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Subject Matter Expert (SME) in C4ISR systems and in leading teams in supporting C4ISR System design, integration and testing and advance level knowledge of project management and/or systems engineering.
