QualificationsSpecialized Experience: For the
GS-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the
GS-13 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes:
- Leading enterprise scale backup, storage, and systems administration operations, including developing and enforcing data protection policies and directing large, mission critical modernization initiatives; and
- Supervising multidisciplinary IT teams, executing full personnel management responsibilities, and applying equal employment opportunity principles in all aspects of hiring, development, and performance management; and
- Collaborating with senior IT leadership to influence enterprise technology strategy, guide major infrastructure investments, and provide authoritative consultation on backup architecture and data protection methodologies; and
- Overseeing operational environments requiring advanced troubleshooting, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement to ensure high availability and security of enterprise services.
In addition to the above specialized experience, your resume must demonstrate one year of Information Technology (IT) related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following nine (9) competencies, as defined:
