The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-time Supervisory Equipment Specialist (NH-1670-03) to work for Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the 635 SCOW, at Holloman Air Force Base located in Alamogordo NM. Directs work activities through subordinates with responsibility for maintaining a current knowledge and guiding subordinate employees to provide advice, accountability, and expertise on a continuous basis. Mission Statement for Organization: To manage the Fuels Support Equipment (FSE), War Reserve Materials (WRM) programs an serve as the FSE Flight Manager for all related programs to include acquisition, purchase description, first article testing and acceptance of FSE. Requirements: Obtain & maintain a security clearance May be required to travel to perform temporary duty May have extended/other than normal duty hours Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA): 1. Mastery knowledge of the applicable principles, concepts, policies, and laws; functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve problems; and all aspects of support. 2. Extensive knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures. 3. Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of team building, developing interpersonal relationships, maintaining good working relationships, and leading members as a cooperative team. 4. Ability to plan, organize, and direct, mentor, motivate and appraise the staff of a small to medium (or large) sized organization.
