  • Supervisory Engineer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Supervisory Engineer to provide day-to-day leadership and operational support within a GMP-regulated environment. This individual will be responsible for coordinating daily engineering and operational activities, providing guidance to site personnel, supporting GMP compliance, and helping ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong supervisory, organizational, and communication skills who is comfortable working closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and other site functions. Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and coordination of engineering and operational activities.
  • Support daily site operations and ensure priorities, issues, and required actions are effectively managed.
  • Provide direction and technical guidance to employees, contractors, and other personnel as required.
  • Coordinate activities across Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other functional groups.
  • Ensure activities are performed in accordance with GMP requirements, site procedures, safety standards, and applicable quality requirements.
  • Monitor daily activities, identify operational or technical issues, and facilitate timely resolution.
  • Support troubleshooting of equipment, utilities, facilities, and operational issues.
  • Participate in daily operational meetings and communicate priorities, progress, risks, and escalations to site leadership.
  • Support deviations, investigations, CAPAs, change controls, and other GMP documentation as required.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation of engineering and operational activities.
  • Coordinate resources and priorities to minimize disruptions and support operational schedules.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated operational environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising, coordinating, or leading day-to-day technical or operational activities.
  • Strong understanding of GMP principles and controlled operating procedures.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal, is required.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining close communication with site leadership.
  • Previous supervisory or team-lead experience in an engineering or operations environment.
  • Experience with equipment troubleshooting, maintenance coordination, facilities, utilities, or operational support.
  • Familiarity with deviations, CAPAs, change controls, investigations, and GMP documentation.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated environment.
