Full Job Description
The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Supervisory Engineer for Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) (NH-0801-04) to work for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Joint Program Office at Los Angeles AFB, CA.

Qualifications/Requirements:

In this role, you will serve as an overarching Subject Matter Expert/Advisor (SME/A) for critical MGUE Increment 1 and Increment 2 programs. Your oversight will span the full systems engineering and development lifecycle - from establishing technical requirements and managing configuration changes to directing system integration, testing, production, and sustainment.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

This is a designated Drug Tested Position.

This position is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) and requires the ability to meet Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification requirements.

Proven ability to lead, guide, and direct interdisciplinary teams.

Professional engineering background with mastery of advanced engineering principles.

Key Job-Related Skills:

PNT/GPS Systems Engineering: Strong working knowledge of PNT/GPS Navigation for both development and sustainment systems engineering.

Acquisition Process Knowledge: Understanding of the acquisition process, platform integration, and testing.

Technical Program Support: Lead investigations into field/test anomalies, validate system performance, and direct technology insertion.

Avionics and Digital Engineering: Working knowledge of Electronic Warfare, avionics engineering, and digital engineering principles.
