We currently have a career opportunity for a Supervisory Base Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Iqaluit, NU.

The Supervisory AME will be reporting to the Chief Engineer and their duties include:
  • Perform Aircraft maintenance.
  • Coordinate and manage all aircraft and base maintenance activities in conjunction with the Base Manager to ensure that maintenance is accomplished efficiently.
  • Develop work schedules for maintenance personnel when needed to support aircraft flying operations as effectively as possible.
  • Ensure that maintenance activities at the base are performed in accordance with the duties and responsibilities outlined in the Company's Maintenance Control and Policy Manual.
  • Ensure the base maintenance facilities are maintained cleaned and organized.


Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 or M2 AME Licence with Bell 212/412 ACA.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Bell 212/412 experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Reliability Status security clearance.
  • Based in Iqaluit but will be required to travel with the aircraft from time to time.
  • Must hold the authorization to work in Canada. (This position is not available for sponsorship).
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and leadership skills.
  • Organized and self-starter.
  • Be customer focused and a team player.

Location: Iqaluit, NU

Status: Permanent or Contractual, full-time (Rotation: 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off).
