Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Warfighter Defense & System Integration Department (W), EOD Information Management Division (W2), Publications Branch (W22) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.

The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project.


Duties

Help

  • You will lead, coordinate, communicate, integrate and be held accountable for the full range of supervisory and managerial duties for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Publication Development Branch.
  • You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, developing and disseminating core content of EOD Subjects and Levels 2 and 3 EOD publications for Joint Service EOD technicians.
  • You will integrate workforce activities related to the acquisition and exploitation of recovered EOD ordnance, information and related materials.
  • You will evaluate and prioritize human capital and processes towards effective development of timely, accurate and relevant EOD publications.
  • You will lead and participate in projects that facilitate EOD-centered knowledge, information and procedures.
  • You will plan, coordinate, manage, staff, budget, direct and report work of branch in program responsibilities.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading the collection, analysis, development, or dissemination of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) information (e.g. technical; procedural; equipment) to ensure compliance with EOD information development and approval standard for warfighter safety and operational effectiveness.
