Role Overview/Purpose:The Warehouse Supervisor leads daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, accurate, and timely material flow in support of mine production and maintenance. The role oversees inventory control, SAP transaction discipline, SOP compliance, service levels for critical spares, and the performance of warehouse personnel.
WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - Island Gold DistrictPrimary Responsibilities- Lead safe, efficient warehouse operations in compliance with site standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee daily warehouse activities of receiving, storage, picking, staging, dispatch, shipping and material handling activities.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, variance resolution, critical spares monitoring, and Min/Max review.
- Ensure timely and accurate SAP transactions for goods receipts, material issues, stock adjustments, and inventory records.
- Support maintenance and operations by ensuring parts availability, timely service, and effective coordination for shutdowns and priority work.
- Lead, coach, schedule, and support warehouse personnel, including onboarding, training, and certification coordination.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and escalate inventory, safety, service, or control risks as required.
- Drive root cause analysis for stock outs
- Implement early warning system and escalation process for potential stock out risks
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:- High school diploma with related post-secondary training preferred.
- 7+ years of warehouse, supply chain, materials, or related experience.
- Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse procedures, and applicable regulations.
- TDG certification required; WHMIS and forklift certification preferred.
- Mining equipment, parts, and critical spares knowledge preferred.
- Able to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and focus
Working conditions:- 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
- a travel allowance is provided and varies based on distance from the mine site in Dubreuilville, Ontario, or to the local airport we fly charter from including Sudbury, Toronto, and Rouyn Noranda
- Meals and accommodation provided while working at site
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
Compensation range: $90,000 to $172,150 annually
The compensation range for this role is intended to support transparency and informed decision making. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience and internal equity.
