General Summary

Leads and develops a team in executing proactive talent acquisition strategies to source, screen, select and onboard top talent. Partners with Talent Acquisition (TA) leadership to translate business needs into talent acquisition solutions. Leverages resources to achieve the effective sourcing, branding and attraction, screening and selection, hiring and on-boarding of high quality, diverse talent across the organization. Key responsibilities also include organizing, analyzing and reporting on staffing activity metrics or new program features.

Essential Functions:
  • Supervises a team of talent acquisition professionals to deliver high-quality, cost-effective recruitment services that support business needs.
  • Oversees day-to-day performance of team by providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure individual and team performance meets established goals and Service Level Agreements.
  • Supports an efficient and consistent hiring process from start to finish, reinforcing best practices in interview processes, tools, candidate evaluation, and selection.
  • Assists in developing recruiting team capabilities in sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment techniques.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition leadership to execute departmental goals, initiatives, and processes aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Monitors and reports on key recruiting metrics; assists with analyzing data and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Provides guidance and support to hiring managers to enhance understanding of recruitment practices, selection processes, and market conditions.
  • Assists with recruitment marketing and sourcing efforts by leveraging various channels, tools, and technologies, including social media.
  • Maintains working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and ensures compliance in recruitment processes.

Common Expectations:
  • Coordinates and integrates services within the department/service line/entity, with other departments/service lines/entities, and with the System's primary functions. Participates in the selection of outside services (if needed).
  • Continuously assesses and improves the department/service line/entity/System's performance. Maintains appropriate quality control/assessment programs (if applicable). Utilizes Lean and other performance improvement techniques.
  • Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards.
  • Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
  • Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

  • Bachelors Degree Required

Work Experience:
  • 5 years Of progressive, professional recruitment experience. Required and
  • Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or Staffing experience. Required and
  • Experience in the following: recruiting at all levels; identifying, assessing and managing external vendors related to Talent Acquisition; building, mentoring and coaching a team; standardizing processes and monitoring a disseminated geographic structure for consistency. Required
  • Experience in healthcare, HR operations and/or staffing analytics and structured candidate assessment methodologies and tools (i.e., behavioral based interviewing, blitz interview events) for candidate selection. Preferred and
  • Retained search experience. Preferred

Courses and Training:
  • Appropriate HR Certification. Upon Hire Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, process management, administration, hands-on execution, time management and information management skills are essential.
  • Strong relationship building with both internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in using ATS and HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge of sourcing tools (i.e. social media, online resume database mining, etc.).
  • Ability to identify performance gaps and recommend process and other improvement interventions using Lean or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of employment law, recruitment best practices and applicable compliance laws that relate to the monitoring of talent acquisition activities.
