Job Summary

News 12 is looking for a driven Supervisor, Studio Operations to lead a team of talented newscast directors. The ideal candidate will be an innovative television director who's looking to coach and grow new talent in a technologically advanced control room/studio environment. The role will be highly collaborative with production, engineering, and editorial teams.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise team of studio directors.
  • Coordinate studio and staff schedules.
  • Direct newscasts and special productions, as needed.
  • Ensure high quality video productions.
  • Work closely with the Sr Director, Network News Technology and Studio Operations to oversee day-to-day and long-term planning.
  • Work with Engineering to maintain equipment and facility.
  • Respond to breaking news and other urgent situations as required.
  • Hire, coach, train staff members and build strong teams.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $77,112.00 - $126,684.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
