  • Act as a liaison between internal teams (Construction, Engineering, Sales Engineering, PMO) and external partners (contractors, vendors, property staff).
  • Review construction documentation, including design drawings, scopes of work, BOMs, cable test results, and close-out packages.
  • Ensure installations comply with approved designs, company standards, and BICSI structured cabling best practices.
  • Coordinate site access, property communication, scheduling, and sequencing of construction activities.
  • Monitor contractor progress, validate completed work, document deviations, and escalate risks or issues when necessary.
  • Support change management efforts, including evaluating scope changes and coordinating remediation.
  • Maintain accurate project records, update reporting dashboards, and distribute timely communication to stakeholders.
  • Assist with invoice validation and confirm work completion prior to approval.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in construction coordination, project coordination, telecommunications infrastructure, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of structured cabling systems (CAT6/CAT6A, fiber backbone, MDF/IDF architecture).
  • Basic understanding of networking technologies, including switches, access points, PoE/PoE+, and Managed WiFi systems.

  • Proficiency with standard business and project-tracking tools (Excel, Smartsheet, project management platforms, documentation tools).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of BICSI structured cabling standards and low-voltage industry best practices.
  • Experience supporting Managed WiFi or MDU (multi-dwelling unit) deployments.
  • Ability to interpret low-voltage design drawings, riser diagrams, and cable certification reports.
  • Experience working with contractors, business partners, and construction vendors.
  • RCDD certification (highly desirable).
