Overview

The Supervisor of Strategy and Investment manages the day-to-day deliverables and campaign execution while serving as the primary point of contact for ongoing requests & questions. They will partner with the Associate Director to develop media recommendations, review plan proposals, and ensure flawless campaign activation. This role combines strategy, planning, and activation responsibilities, with a strong focus on digital and Retail Media execution.

Responsibilities

Account Management:

  • Serve as the day-to-day client contact for campaign planning, execution, and ongoing requests.


  • Oversee the day-to-day work of Planners and Associate Planners, including project prioritization, workflow management, and quality control.


  • Build and maintain relationships with media publishers and meet with new vendors to assess the value and applicability.


  • Embraces and encourages a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity


  • Assists in training, mentoring, and developing team members.


  • Assists in the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the team and the group.


Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop integrated tactical plans in partnership with the Associate Director, incorporating business objectives, campaign learnings, and marketplace insights.


  • Lead the planning and activation of Retail Media programs while managing day-to-day client communication related to campaign execution.


  • Analyze campaign performance and marketplace trends to identify optimization opportunities and develop actionable recommendations.


  • Develop client presentations that communicate strategy, performance, and key learnings.


  • Review RFPs, evaluate partner proposals, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure plans align with client objectives and measurement requirements.


Activation and Reporting:

  • Oversee the execution of approved media plans


  • Manage client/vendor communication on campaign timelines


  • Review all campaign inputs into Prisma for final approval


  • Ensure all tagging requirements are followed. Check and confirm all partners have received tags and QA'd for launch


  • Monitor campaign performance and collaborate with team members and partners to identify strategic, actionable optimization opportunities.


  • Contribute performance insights to reporting deliverables and review reports for accuracy and completeness


Budgets & Billing:

  • Lead the monthly flowchart maintenance and issuance process, ensuring accuracy and alignment across flowcharts, authorizations, POs, and supporting campaign documentation.


  • Support monthly reconciliation efforts with the billing team by updating the billing tracker and investigating and resolving any vendor discrepancies that arise


  • Consult on ad-hoc billing/payment issues or requests from vendors


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree


  • 3+ years of media agency experience, with an emphasis on Retail Media platforms.


  • Knowledge of key retailers, their ecosystems, and go-to-market strategies


  • Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods industry (CPG) preferred


  • Comfortable collaborating across teams and presenting recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.


  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills; able to manage multiple projects & people


  • Experience analyzing complex data, market research, and formulating actionable plans.


  • Solid experience with the billing and reconciliation process.


  • Demonstrate problem solving and intervention when necessary.


  • Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail.


  • Entrepreneurial spirit and high self-motivation


Business Competencies:

  • Prisma, Microsoft Suite, Guideline/MediaTools, Kantar, GWI/MRI, Comscore, 3rd Party Adserver (DFA Certified preferred), Nielsen Media Impact


  • Demonstrate willingness and ability to learn propriety software

Compensation Range: USD $81,225.00 - USD $90,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
