Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing the design, build, implementation, support, and testing of multiple in-house and third-party applications. This role ensures the delivery of information technology services by providing direct application team oversight and management. Additionally, this position coordinates with physicians and end users to analyze and document workflows, perform gap analyses, identify necessary process changes, and develop future workflows during the implementation of new solutions or functionality. In addition, this role provides guidance and acts as a resource for other analysts, project managers, and consultants, setting and measuring performance objectives and providing regular feedback and coaching.
  • Understands facility department processes, assesses workflows, identifies gaps, and defines changes for new solutions.
  • Designs, builds, and configures modules and supporting applications, maintaining system documentation and process steps.
  • Creates test scripts for end-to-end workflow testing, performs unit, system, and integration testing, and documents outcomes.
  • Stays updated on industry trends and system updates to ensure current knowledge.
  • Ensures software modifications and upgrades meet system specifications and organizational standards.
  • Follows standards for software configuration control, quality assurance, and version releases, documenting system upgrades and new system releases.
  • Leads cross-functional projects using project management skills, tools, and methodologies.
  • Communicates project status, issues, end-user concerns, budget, and milestones effectively.
  • Participates in and leads meetings, reporting status updates, accomplishments, tasks, and barriers to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Epic, third-party solutions and Microsoft products.
  • Develops collaborative relationships with stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Troubleshoots issues, initiates escalation procedures, and recommends resolutions.

  • Associate college degree (a.s, b.a., b.s. or commensurate experience) in a field of study such as business, is, or a healthcare related [Required]

Field of Study:
