Job Summary

Job Description
Oversee and manage the Quality Control functions and personnel at designated distribution center. Responsibilities Include inspection, product disposition, holding and releasing of product and personnel matters. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage all performance, attendance, monthly bonus and employee reviews for direct reports at designated distribution center. • Prioritize work schedules. Schedule overtime as needed. • Maintain a good working relationship and open communications with Branch Management. • Train branch inspectors on Quality System Regulation (QSR), Department of Health/ Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. • Support Quality, Regulatory and Operations to ensure branch compliance with all applicable regulations. • Lead day-to-day activities of employees. Assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work, directs efforts and provides technical guidance on more complex issues. Provide input into hiring, firing and performance reviews. • Operate material handling equipment as necessary to support workload and overall projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education High school diploma or equivalent. Work Experience At least 3 years QC or similar experience. Prior experience in medical device and/or drug manufacturing setting. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities • Intermediate level understanding of FDA/ QSR/ ISO-13485 guidelines. • Intermediate level knowledge of ANSI/ ASQCZ1.4-current revision. • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling). • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns). • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Sit, walk or stand for prolong periods of time. Display specific vision abilities including, close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work in hot and cold environments, (32F95F). Ability to encompass heights. Frequent bending and kneeling. • Must be available to travel from state to state on occasion. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education Associates degree or technical certification preferred. Work Experience Supervising or managing experience preferred. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Operating Material Handling Equipment. Knowledge of Quality Systems Regulations and Medical Devices preferred. The anticipated salary range for this position:
$79,000.00 - $119,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
