About the role

We are looking for a Supervisor, Ore Delivery System (ODS), to lead the day-to-day organization and direction of production and development activities for a designated shift. In this role, you'll help the team meet or exceed production goals in a safe, cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner, while creating clear expectations and supporting a positive crew environment.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the ODS Superintendent and working with maintenance and operations crews across shifts within the Ore Delivery System, you will:

• Lead IOC safety program activities and model safe behaviours through safety observations, group safety talks, planned inspections and incident investigations.
• Ensure people, equipment and work areas comply with applicable safety policies and regulations by providing the required training, tools and monitoring.
• Create a positive employee relations environment within the crew and across shifts through clear, respectful and consistent leadership.
• Set clear work objectives and performance expectations to achieve safety and production targets.
• Identify and address operating conditions that could cause equipment damage, production disruption or safety risk.
• Allocate people and equipment based on employee capability, daily priorities and operating requirements to support safe crew performance.
• Coordinate timely shift setup and communicate relevant operating conditions to the incoming shift to strengthen continuity.

Required for Success

• Skills and Capabilities: Ability to set clear expectations, organize shift activities and align people and equipment with operational priorities in a safety-critical environment.
• Experience: Demonstrated supervisory experience in production, maintenance, mining, processing or a comparable heavy industrial operation.
• Experience: A record of executing work plans and supporting safe, reliable production outcomes through frontline leadership.
• Qualifications: A valid Class 5 driver's licence.

Helpful for Success

• Systems: Experience using SAP for work management.
• Qualifications: A Journeyperson trade certification, engineering or engineering technology diploma, or equivalent practical experience.
