Full Job Description
What We're Looking For:
This Supervisor Operations role manages the day-to-day execution of picking operations at Zebra's distribution center, with direct oversight and accountability for the people, productivity, safety, quality and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages up to 35 employees and / or contract workers in an operational area; Is directly responsible for the hiring, onboarding, training, performance, and engagement of the staff
  • Assigns daily work, monitors progress, engages to resolve obstacles to ensure KPIs are met
  • Collaborates with peers across shifts and functions to support optimized performance across the site / business
  • Intentionally engages to drive a culture of belonging, development, safely, continuous improvement and high performance
  • Models Zebra's culture and values for the teams they lead
  • Compiles and analyzes operational data; Prepares reports for leadership that include proposals to address performance gaps in the team
  • Evaluates performance of subordinates, provides coaching and feedback to support success; Conducts performance appraisals and determines pay increases for direct reports in alignment with Zebra's philosophies and practices
  • Partners with Human Resources to recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges and discipline
  • Participates or leads projects as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Job Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent supervisory experience in a related industry
  • Work Experience: 6+ years of experience including minimum 1 year as team lead /supervisor


Key Skills and Competencies
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess strong problem solving, decision-making and analytical skills
  • Intermediate level skills in MS Office and Microsoft systems
  • Working knowledge of ISO standards and guidelines

Pay Range:
$76,640.00 - $114,960.00 Annual

Incentive Compensation:
In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
