Position Summary Supervisor, Operations is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the support staff of Northwest Employment Works Thunder Bay. The position is responsible for ensuring that all service delivery dimensions are being offered and provided in a manner that meets the Service Quality Standards for Employment Services, set out by the Ministry of Skills Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD).

Minimum level of formal education required for the position 3 year diploma/degree or equivalent education
Specific course(s), certification, qualification, formal training or accreditation required for the positionAdditional Requirements - Experience working in employment services as a leader is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Excellent team building skills, which include being a strong, team member as well as the ability to develop and lead teams.

- Experience working with mandated targets, receiving funding based on successful achievement of targets;
- Supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized environment;
- Experience working within a continuous improvement performance management system model;
