SUPERVISOR OF INSTRUCTION
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid NJ Supervisor Certificate
• Minimum of five (5) years successful teaching experience, part of which shall include experience developing and implementing curricular programs
• Experience supervising secondary level academic programs and English Language Arts instruction preferred
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff/students
• Thorough understanding of N.J.S.A. Title 18A and N.J.A.C. 6A, AchieveNJ, as well as Educational policies and protocols
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinates, manages and oversees all phases of program administration and supervision within the high school under the direction of the Assistant Principal
• Supervises students, faculty and support personnel as assigned
• Assists in the development and implementation of curriculum, as well as budget preparation, and program evaluation
