Job Title: Supervisor, Materials Management -Off Shift

Working Pattern: Full-Time - (Shift Hours) Sunday - Wednesday 7:30pm-6:00am - For this position, the employee is asked to work casual overtime.

Working Location: Aiken, SC

What you will be doing

  • Direct, coordinate and monitor the activities of hourly employees engaged in the production or processing of goods.

  • Coordinates flow of materials with other departments and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments.

  • Maintains departmental overtime and attendance.

  • Plan, read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, materials handling, or industrial engineering and 5 years of materials supervision, logistics, or supply chain experience; or 9 years of materials supervision, logistics or supply
    chain experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous experience in area of supervisory responsibility

  • Strong knowledge of KanBan and sequential replenishment processes

  • Strong knowledge of maintaining inventory/accountability records

  • Knowledge of MTU products, policies and procedures

Mental & Physical Requirements:

  • Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, and the employee must have the ability to adjust focus.

  • While performing tasks of this position, the employee is regularly required to operate a computer inside the facility. Next, an employee will be occasionally required to come in contact with wet or humid conditions. Finally, this position
    occasionally requires the employee to be in contact with hazardous conditions.
