Full Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor is a technically skilled leader responsible for driving equipment reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement across the plant. This role applies engineering principles to manage preventive maintenance systems, lead root cause problem solving, optimize spare parts strategy, and improve overall maintenance performance. The Supervisor partners with Operations, Engineering, and Purchasing to enhance equipment effectiveness, reduce cost, and ensure safe and efficient operations. This is for 1st Shift

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) required
  • 3-7 years of experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or manufacturing operations
  • Strong working knowledge of industrial systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)
  • Experience with SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) or similar CMMS systems
  • Proven ability in root cause analysis (RCA), problem-solving methodologies (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA)
  • Understanding of reliability engineering, preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
  • Financial acumen related to maintenance cost control and inventory management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations

Job Responsibilites:
  • Lead maintenance team activities to achieve plant safety, quality, and productivity goals,Drive equipment uptime improvement initiatives using data-driven decision-making
  • Lead structured problem-solving efforts to eliminate chronic equipment failures and Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve MTBF and reduce MTTR.
  • Own and manage SAP PM system, including Preventive maintenance (PM) program development and optimization, Work order planning, scheduling, and execution tracking, and Asset master data accuracy and maintenance plans.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence. Drive cost reduction initiatives related to maintenance materials and services. Establish critical spare parts lists and stocking strategies based on risk and usage. Monitor and control maintenance budget performance.
  • Support purchasing requests and improve lead times
  • Drive 5S in maintenance areas
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of plant infrastructure and equipment footprint, Oversee maintenance and repair of both production equipment and facility systems, Coordinate installation, upgrades, and modifications of equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations
  • Enforce adherence to maintenance processes, procedures, and documentation standards
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and improvements
  • Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence across the maintenance function
