Days/Hours of Work: Job Summary The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervision of Maintenance Technicians who maintain equipment within the production facility. This role assists with establishing methods, controls, and standards for the execution of maintenance work. Job Responsibilities • Practices, is a champion, and holds others to a high standard of safety in every aspect of this position. • Staff, train, supervise, develop, and evaluate maintenance team members. • Ensures high quality maintenance completion to ensure line efficiencies, improve key performance indicators and to minimize down time. • Supervises operations and provides management with evaluation of equipment and makes requests for services and other needs to support the facility and staff. • Takes ownership of his/her personnel to include time and attendance, workmanship, behavior, team building, rewards, and creating a fun, safe, and inviting environment to work in. • Ensures compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP) and safety standards. • Ensures team member adherence to OEM and good workmanship guidelines for high quality and efficient maintenance of equipment. • Supports the facility and fosters a united team atmosphere to ensure the production facility operates as a high functioning team. Job Requirements • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's or Trade School Degree preferred. • Minimum of three years of work experience required. • Experience in equipment maintenance required. • Supervisory or people management experience required. • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing environment and high-speed production equipment. • Strong knowledge of TPM/PM Pillar Tools including Break Down Analysis, Predictive Maintenance, Work Order Process, Corrective Maintenance required. • Thorough understanding of LEAN tools such as: 5S, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5 Why's, Fish Bone, Kaizen and Failure Mode Effect and Analysis (FMEA) preferred. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge and ability to train on methodologies of Breakdowns, Preventive Maintenance, and Break Down Analysis. • Leadership in Six Sigma approach to: Problem-Solving, Root-Cause, Breakdown and Corrective Actions and Corrective Maintenance. • Ability to analyze data and apply appropriate corrective action for mechanical failures down to the root cause. • Prior experience using a forklift is preferred. Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.
