Qualifications

  • Ensure adherence to ACR and DOH guidelines for quality and infection control standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Full Job Description
Supervises and coordinates the imaging operations and Technologists and their daily activities, of one modality. Ensures assignments are completed and maintains quality patient care. Job Responsibility 1.Promotes Imaging Services department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members. 2.Leads the activities of assigned Imaging Services team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives. 3.Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines, and evaluates the performance of staff; ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner. 4.Prioritizes, schedules, assigns and monitors work to optimize operational performance; ensures adequate inventory of supplies. 5.Organizes and guides staff towards service line/department goals. Analyzes, recommends, implements and monitors approved work-flow changes. 6.Maintains staff credentials and continuing education credits. 7.Follows guidelines set forth by ACR and DOH. Ensures staff adherence to Quality and Infection Control guidelines and equipment maintenance according to state and federal guidelines. 8.Maintains related accreditation, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control standards within modality. 8.Troubleshoots mechanical equipment issues and ensures compliance to manufacturer specifications. Schedule equipment maintenance and repair. 9.Participates in developing and delivering training related to modality. 10.Participates in evaluating and implementing Performance Improvement related practices. 11.Functions as a Technologist and responds to emergency calls, as necessary. 12.Performs related duties as required.
