Full Job Description
Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to lead a department in the accurate and timely completion of tasks and projects in areas such as Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Not For Resale, and Lease Administration.

This position is responsible for establishing and monitoring goals and objectives as well as implementing and maintaining accounting procedures and controls for the department in accordance with established service levels, company, industry, and accounting policy guidelines.

*Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC.

*Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The primary purpose of this position is to lead a department in the accurate and timely completion of tasks and projects in areas such as Retail Distribution CDevelop and maintain and review procedures to ensure best practices
  • Oversee data flow and process between various departments and 3rd party provider
  • Assist in making key business decisions by providing special analysis
  • Review and approve journal entries and account recs compiled by direct and extended (3rd) party
  • Direct and lead the work of others
  • Establish departmental goals
  • Assist and/or develop budget and forecasts
  • Participate in the development of medium-term operational strategy plans
  • Develop and publish consolidated statements/reports
  • Act as a liaison between the department and other areas and brands
  • Provide timely response to non-routine and adhoc reporting and information requests

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or Equivalent
  • 6-8 years experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting theories, methodologies, principles and practices, and the impact of departmental transactions to the financial statements
  • Knowledge of credit and collections techniques, revenue recognition rules, and general accounting requirements
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Advanced formulas in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, and macros)
  • Experience with account analysis, budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience with or ability to use query tools for reporting
  • Experience with account analysis
  • Accurate and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of management, internal and external business partners, and auditors
  • Ability to recognize need for and to and recommend changes
  • Strong business process improvement skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to create and effectively deliver training to all levels of the organization
  • Mainframe, SEGA, ACIS, and DSS MicroStrategy knowledge is helpful
  • SAP S4/Hana required

  • LEAN immersion training preferred

Salary Range NC: $75,040 - $112,560

Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
