We are looking for a Tax Supervisor to join our Tax Department in our New York office. As a Tax Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service. Responsibilities, but not limited to: - Prepares and reviews tax returns, extensions, and projections for various clients (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, Individual, Trust)
- Knowledge of Federal and State tax law
- Perform tax research to resolve issues
- Maintain frequent contact with client and handle day-to-day client relationship issues
- Build relationships with clients and staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Masters in Taxation preferred
- 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a mid-size public accounting firm
- CPA or (in progress) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have excellent client service skills
- Highly motivated
- Responsive to clients
- Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills
- Knowledge of CCH Axcess and Go File Room is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
