Full Job Description

Holman is looking for a Supervisor to join their Accounting Department in Vancouver, WA!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for high-volume operational workflows, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and overall operational excellence.

  • Own day-to-day execution against established service levels (SLAs), throughput targets, backlog goals, and quality expectations; monitor performance and take corrective action when metrics fall outside expectations.

  • Monitor operational metrics including workload volume, SLA performance, throughput, quality indicators, backlog aging, and productivity trends. Use data to drive staffing, coaching, prioritization, and escalation decisions.

  • Oversee and review team output to ensure work is completed accurately and in compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable standards.

  • Conduct regular reviews and quality checks of team deliverables to ensure completeness, consistency, and adherence to expectations.

  • Own and maintain process governance, including the development and ongoing enhancement of standard operating procedures (SOPs), documentation, and training materials.

  • Monitor team workflows and service channels to ensure timely, professional communication and effective escalation management.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and primary escalation point for complex issues, policy interpretation, and exceptions requiring sound judgment.

  • Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency across processes and workflows.

  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional partners to assess workload, optimize resources, and implement process improvements.

  • Perform core supervisory responsibilities, including performance management, coaching and development, employee

  • relations actions, and recognition efforts.

  • Participate in talent acquisition activities, including interviewing and providing hiring recommendations.

  • Manage team operations, including scheduling, timecard review, attendance, and time-off approvals in alignment with

  • company policies.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and strong customer service.

  • Lead by example, demonstrating leadership presence, ownership, and a commitment to team and organizational success.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor; prior supervisory experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio,

  • SharePoint etc.)

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $83,570.00 - $119,085.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
