We are looking for a
Solutions Operations Supervisor - Building Automation to join our team. This pivotal leadership role involves directing a team focused on the comprehensive lifecycle of building automation system projects, from initial planning through to final commissioning. The successful candidate will be instrumental in achieving significant financial objectives, specifically managing revenue and gross margin to meet ambitious targets, including an annual revenue goal of at least $7 million. This financial stewardship will be accomplished through diligent control of job costs and the efficient, on-time execution of all projects. Beyond financial oversight, the position demands a strong technical leader who will provide essential expertise, strategic direction, and ultimate accountability for all installed projects and ongoing technical support programs, ensuring high-quality delivery and operational excellence.
As a
Solutions Operations Supervisor - Building Automation, you will:
- Supervise the activities and performance of solutions installation team within assigned area of responsibility.
- Ensure schedules are maintained and projects proceed according to plans, job specifications, and cost estimates.
- Perform installation activities where/when required.
- Promote and ensure implementation of productivity tools, standards, and best practices.
- Lead continuous improvement activities.
- Plan and justify staffing requirements for timely execution of assigned work.
- Provide monthly labor forecast.
- Ensure proper job management and cost control by reviewing project financial statements.
- Maintain and improve planned and executed margins for projects.
- Review customer feedback and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain relationships between engineering and execution teams so changes and discrepancies can be managed to minimize cost and delay throughout the execution phases of projects.
- Manage or advise on hiring, training and development, allocation, and performance assessment of personnel within area of responsibility.
You will make an impact with these qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED
- 8+ Years experience in systems startup and commissioning
- 3+ Years experience as a team supervisor
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in related field
- Organizational and interpersonal skills

The pay range for this position is $83,966 - $143,942 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
