Organization:
SCP-Sutter Center for Psychiatry

Position Overview:
Supervises and oversees day-to-day activities related to care of patients with mental health needs, ensuring consistent delivery of high-value quality care. Coordinates the assessment, treatment planning, and managing the disposition of patients including appropriate transfers depending on individual patient's needs. Establishes work priorities, and assists staff in resolving operational issues/problems. Enforces adherence to department, affiliate, operating unit, and/or system standards, policies and procedures, TJC standards, and applicable laws and regulations. Collaborates with others to coordinate services, streamline and standardize work flows and procedures, and/or drive positive outcomes. Develops relationships with mental health facilities/organizations within and outside the community to provide appropriate disposition of patients.

Job Description:

EDUCATION:
  • Master's: social work, counseling, or related field.


CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
  • LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker
  • OR LMFT-Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist


TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Knowledge of administrative and clinical areas with special emphasis on hospital and/or other healthcare settings and standards of patient care.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, along with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements, including The Joint Commission (TJC), California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and Title 22 specifications.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology to include diagnostic and operative procedures.
  • knowledge of State, Federal, and Profession Industry Standards pertaining to healthcare practice.
  • Conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills in a complex environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, presentation, and collaboration skills.

Pay Range is $114,774.40 to $172,161.60 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
