Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing a team of Specialists that provides support to ensure that Enterprise Specialty is compliant with Pharma Program requirements including but not limited to Drug Safety Reporting, Quality Monitoring, REMS Compliance, Standard Operating Procedures and Program Training. The Supervisor shall provide manage the day to day operations of the Audit Team to ensure all functions pertaining to Pharma Program Compliance are met within contractual timelines. The Supervisor shall provide ongoing administrative, organizational and audit support to the Audit and Adherence Manager, Pharma Programs and support regularly scheduled contract audits. This position will work with the Audit and Adherence Manager in preparing for external audits, by ensuring the team of Specialists pulls all required information and reviews prior to the audit. Assists the Audit and Adherence Manager with more complex external audits.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of Specialists responsible for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Adverse Event review and reconciliations. This includes, but is not limited to: Internal adverse event audits and manufacturer specific adverse event audits and reconciliation reports, quality check monitoring and meeting all contractually or policy required timeframes
  • Assists with the facilitation of reviews of monthly internal programs to ensure that all contractual requirements, including, but not limited to, drug safety reporting, REMS requirements and SOPS are being followed
  • Participates in select manufacturer audits as they relate to contract adherence
  • Oversees and coordinates the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual audit of source data; these audits may occur in, but are not limited to, SME, SR2, Cognos Reports, and phone calls/notes/records.
  • Oversees the timely distribution and maintenance of all training records for ARx manufacturer programs; this includes, but is not limited to: SOP training, adverse event training, clinical training and corrective and preventative action training; prepare and format training records to share externally to manufacturer clients upon their request
  • Works with the Pharma Program Services Manager, ARx Document Management Team and Audit and Adherence Pharma Program Manager, as the subject matter expert on more complex issues to ensure that all SOP's are posted on SharePoint using the correct SOP template, and that all SOP's are reviewed and updated on an annual or as required basis
  • Supervises the team of Specialists that monitors Corrective and Preventative action plans to ensure areas that have been identified as deficient are remedied and escalate outstanding issues to the Manager of Audit Team
  • Supervises the preparation of client audit binders (electronic, paper or both) that contain all applicable materials specific to the audit scope and agenda to be utilized during client audit
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the development, oversight and implementation of departmental budget
  • Responsible for leading a team through teaching, coaching and inspiring by fostering a sense of energy, ownership and a responsibility for the flawless execution of operational excellence; engage in the selection and hiring process as needed


External Basic Qualifications

  • Associates' degree in Business, Healthcare, or related area of study; or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
  • 3 years' work experience working with Specialty Pharmacy or Manufacturer audits
  • Experience interpreting details of manufacturer contractual language and ensure contractual requirements are attainable
  • Experience in analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Willing to travel up to/at least (10%) of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
