Superintendent, CIPP

We are currently seeking a CIPP Superintendent who will oversee day-to-day field operations for CIPP rehabilitation projects. This role is responsible for coordinating crews, subcontractors, equipment, and project resources to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality requirements. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering trenchless rehabilitation projects while working alongside a team that values collaboration, accountability, innovation, and strong field leadership. This position may require travel to various project sites.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and promoting a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identifying and communicating workplace hazards and correcting or seeking assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
• Supervise daily field operations and coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment to ensure productive and efficient project execution.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and project resources to support successful project execution.
• Schedule and communicate daily and short-term work plans to achieve project milestone and client expectations.
• Monitor project progress and work collaboratively with Project Managers to resolve field challenges and maintain project schedules.
• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract requirements to ensure work is completed correctly.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead daily safety meetings, job hazard assessments, and toolbox talks to promote a safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate project records including daily reports, production tracking, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, inspectors, and internal stakeholders to suppor successful project delivery.
• Support workforce development by mentoring field personnel and fostering a culture ofteamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Technical trade certification, construction-related education, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of construction experience with progressive supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, project execution, safety practices, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project reporting and construction management software is considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license for the type(s) of vehicles driven, with an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team.
