About the RoleSuperintendent II leads field operations on industrialprojects in the Jacksonville area, planning, supervising, and executingconstruction to ensure a safe, orderly, and efficient jobsite. As a seniorfield leader, this role takes on larger, more complex projects, mentors fieldstaff, and helps Winter grow its presence in the Jacksonville market.
Responsibilities- Plan, supervise, and execute all field operations on industrial projects, maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient jobsite
- Lead schedule development and near-term planning with subcontractors, proactively resolving risks to keep milestones on track
- Direct subcontractor coordination and quality control, including inspections, water management, and a continuous punch process
- Lead, train, and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Representatives, and field staff
- Manage field budgets and subcontractor pay applications, and support preconstruction, buyout, and pursuits of new work
Qualifications- 10+ years of superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor, including supervising field staff
- Experience leading ground-up industrial projects 50M+
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, quality control, and subcontractor coordination
- OSHA 30 certification [required / preferred]
- Based in the Jacksonville, FL area or willing to relocate
