Position DescriptionWho is a Delnor Superintendent?A Delnor site superintendent is ultimately a team player and a coach.The ideal candidate to join our team has excellent communication skills and can easily direct and mentor project teams on their site. They take ownership of their site and the work happening -- overseeing tasks and ensuring the best quality of work from their team. The ideal candidate is adaptable and flexible, easily embracing new responsibilities and pivoting when required. They also embrace a culture of safety and are willing to promote safe work practices on their sites.
Position RequirementsJob Specifications/Requirements: - Journeyperson Carpenter certification or equivalent.
- 5+ years as a certified Journeyperson with 2+ years supervising construction sites preferred.
- CSTS and First Aid certifications.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:- Computer skills, including the Microsoft Suite.
- Analytical skills in collecting and organizing statistical data.
- Ability to communicate with internal and external personnel, liaise with multiple stakeholders and prepare professional documentation.
Travel: Must have your own transportation, with the flexibility to work at any site within Edmonton and its area.
