Position Title: Superintendent
Salary Range: $145,000-$205,000 / Year, DOE
This is an opportunity for an experienced Superintendent to take ownership of complex civil infrastructure projects within single-family residential land development. This role will oversee multiple active projects with a specific focus on underground infrastructure and the successful installation of wet and dry utilities, coordinating crews, subcontractors, materials, equipment, inspections, and site logistics from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is a
bilingual English/Spanish construction leader with 5+ years of superintendent experience in underground infrastructure and utilities who knows how to plan ahead, communicate clearly, and keep multiple high-value projects moving without sacrificing quality.
Responsibilities - Oversee 3-5 active civil infrastructure projects, typically valued in the millions
- Manage the installation and coordination of wet and dry utilities for single-family residential land development projects
- Lead field crews, subcontractors, and senior team members across sewer, stormwater, dry utilities, and related infrastructure work
- Develop forward-looking project plans to ensure equipment, materials, labor, and inspections are coordinated before they are needed
- Maintain exceptionally organized, clean, and safe job sites while enforcing high standards for execution
- Coordinate project schedules, logistics, subcontractors, and stakeholders to keep work progressing efficiently
- Provide hands-on field leadership, often functioning as both Superintendent and Foreman depending on project needs
- Maintain clear written documentation and consistent communication regarding project status, issues, and next steps
- Remain accessible when necessary to address time-sensitive project or field issues outside standard working hours
- Follow through on commitments, identify potential problems early, and take ownership of solutions
Requirements - 5+ years of Superintendent experience in underground infrastructure and utilities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Strong experience with wet and dry utility installation
- Experience within single-family residential land development strongly preferred
- Proven experience managing field teams, subcontractors, and multiple concurrent projects
- Strong written communication and construction documentation skills
- Advanced planning, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to anticipate equipment, material, labor, and inspection requirements
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, owner-led construction environment where priorities can shift
- Willingness to work approximately 50-60 hours per week depending on project demands
- Ability to travel directly to job sites throughout the surrounding region
