We are seeking a
Substation Engineer to design new power substations and upgrade existing facilities from 12kV to 500kV. You'll use accepted practices and standards to ensure all designs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

What You'll Do:- Manage small and diverse projects and, occasionally, a larger, more complex project involving multidisciplinary teams
- Perform complex technical research, calculations, modeling, design, and/or report writing for completion of assigned tasks or projects
- Prepare and review preliminary designs
- Prepare proposals, including budgetary estimates
- Prepare the development of plans, specifications, studies, estimates, material lists, and other deliverables
- Ensure team adherence to QA/QC program
- Develop and maintain client relationships as secondary client contact for projects
- Assist in the development of strategy, scope of work, and budget for projects
- Track work progress relative to project schedules and budgets utilizing company project management software
- Train and provide work assignments to project team members
- Maintain overall project quality consistent with company and professional standards
- Interact with regulatory agencies, knowing what information to provide, when, and with appropriate internal or client review
What You'll Bring:- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in Substation Physical and P&C Engineering at a consulting firm
- PE License preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

The minimum salary for this position is $115,000 (negotiable based on the criteria presented above).
