The Work
The selected candidate will manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts, including modified Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), performance specification, and complex build-to-print procurements. Responsibilities include ensuring timely placement of all related purchase requisitions and delivery of supplier material in support of program requirements.
The successful candidate will oversee supplier performance throughout the subcontract lifecycle, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to resolve cost, quality, technical, and delivery challenges. This role requires strong relationship management, problem-solving, and coordination skills to help drive successful program execution and supplier accountability.
The selected candidate will also ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements associated with subcontract management and procurement activities.
Basic Qualifications
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
- SAP manufacturing system and managing complex systems and components.
- Component qualification process
- Negotiating long-term pricing as well as terms and conditions
- US Government FAR/DFARS and DPAS requirements
Desired skills
Experience managing supplier performance and subcontract relationships within the aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industry
Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Demonstrated ability to analyze supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to support program execution
Experience with purchase order placement, supplier negotiations, and contract administration
Experience supporting production, sustainment, or military aircraft programs preferred
Ability to interpret technical requirements, schedules, and contractual deliverables
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams including Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Manufacturing
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $89,300 - $154,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
