THE WORK
In this role, you'll collaborate with a team of seasoned procurement professionals while being fully integrated into the broader program team. You'll gain firsthand experience managing subcontracts throughout their entire life cycle - starting from proposal phase, through execution, and into closeout. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your procurement expertise and take on key responsibilities in managing subcontracts.
In this role selected candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of procurement and subcontract related activities on the Multifunction Modular Mast (MMM), Type-20/24, and Phase C Radar Programs within the Maritime Electronic Warfare portfolio.
• Responsible for procurement and subcontract administration for materials/services
• Responsible for soliciting suppliers on proposal efforts
• Contract deliverables; equipment and services on time meeting the program needs
• Ensure problems are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
• Review, track and process supplier invoices, some with Performance Based Payments
• Collaborate with other LM functional team members to meet program requirements/goals
WHO YOU ARE
You are a procurement professional with a strong background in subcontract administration and a proven ability to negotiate complex agreements. You possess a deep understanding of defense acquisition regulations and are committed to driving supplier success.
This junior career role requires 2+ years of professional experience.
Basic Qualifications
1+ years of related experience
A post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline
Experience with Proposals
Ability to obtain a security Clearance
Ability to travel
Experience with FAR/DFARs
***Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Obtaining a security clearance requires US Citizenship***
Desired skills
Experience placing POs in LM Procure-2-Pay (P2P) and SC Navigator
Demonstrated knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
Experience with production and engineering services
Experience with PIAs, SOWs, and DD254s
Experience with supplier CorpDoc redlines
Ability to work remotely
Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,400 - $101,200. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $66,000 - $114,425. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
