Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required, typically with 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Subcontract, Project, or Program Management.
• Strong negotiation skills are essential for this role.
• Experience in new business capture and proposal development is necessary.
• Ability to create and implement long-term strategic and tactical plans.
• History of successfully managing diverse project teams and resources effectively.
• Competence in scope management and cost estimating processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex development subcontracts from start to finish.
• Drive performance to ensure successful delivery of satellite and payload capabilities.
• Report directly to the Supply Chain Director within Space Systems Product Line.
• Lead and mentor a team of Subcontract PMs as the role evolves.
• Develop plans for staffing, scheduling, risk identification and resource allocation.
• Communicate project status, performance, and financial objectives to senior management.
• Engage in external communications with customers and suppliers.
