Acting as a product expert, you'll provide technical expertise and education to marketing teams and clients, supporting client conversations with structured solutions. The role operates in a closely controlled environment where disciplined risk management, fair customer outcomes and market integrity matter every day. Success means high-quality execution, clear alignment across Sales, Trading and control functions and structured ideas that fit the bank's risk appetite and client needs.

What you'll be doing:
  • Own transaction execution end-to-end from term development through documentation, pricing, execution and settlement coordination
  • Coordinate activity across Trading, Sales, Marketing and internal control functions to progress transactions efficiently
  • Create term sheets, presentations and approval materials that clearly set out structure design and rationale
  • Provide technical input in client meetings alongside marketing teams, translating structures into clear outcomes
  • Apply market fundamentals and key drivers to evaluate economic value, trading principles and structured trade ideas
  • Shape desk strategy with Sales and Trading by contributing market views and structured solution perspectives
  • Generate new product ideas with Sales and Trading and progress them through appropriate internal alignment
  • Track pricing and technical market developments and articulate a house view where relevant to structuring activity

What we're looking for:
  • Bring proven experience structuring and executing transactions across relevant financial markets
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of market fundamentals and the ability to assess economic value within structures
  • Show established capability producing client-facing structuring materials including term sheets and presentations
  • Evidence strong coordination across front office and internal control functions to deliver timely execution
  • Apply sound judgement to ensure transactions fit bank risk appetite and deliver risk appropriately to clients
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to marketing teams and clients including explaining new structured products internally
  • Build and sustain effective working relationships across regions, countries and functions as well as with external partners where relevant
  • Operate with strong control awareness, following relevant policies, procedures and governance expectations

Building structured solutions at pace

If you want to focus on high-impact execution while shaping structured ideas from concept through to completion this role offers a broad platform. You'll partner closely with Sales and Trading while working across internal control functions to deliver outcomes that stand up to scrutiny. The work is hands-on, market-connected and centered on translating client needs into well-structured transactions. If that scope matches the work you want to do, we'd welcome your application.

As an HSBC employee, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities to ensure you have the right skills for today and tomorrow. We offer a competitive pay and benefits package including a robust Wellness Hub, all in a welcoming and inclusive work environment. You will be empowered to drive HSBC's engagement with the communities we serve through an industry-leading volunteerism policy, a generous matching gift program, and a comprehensive program of immersive Sustainability and Climate Change Initiatives. You'll want to join our Employee Resource Groups as they play a central part in life at HSBC, including the development of our employees and networking inside and outside of HSBC. We value difference. We succeed together. We take responsibility. We get it done. And we want you to help us build the bank of the future!

Your final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and several variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
