Full Job Description
Project Engineers at KL&A collaborate closely with project managers to coordinate team activities, maintain design strategies, oversee project workflow, and uphold quality standards. They play a pivotal role in task delegation to design engineers, technicians, and administrative staff. We are dedicated to nurturing the management and leadership abilities of our project engineers through training, mentorship, and other avenues for growth.

Project Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Review and maintain project schedules to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Perform complex analysis tasks and prepare comprehensive project documents.
  • Apply material-specific codes proficiently across multiple jurisdictions and project types.
  • Train and mentor junior staff to enhance technical skills and facilitate career growth.
  • Review progress documents, ensuring conformance of calculations and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams on projects of moderate size or portions of major projects.
  • Represent the organization through client interactions and any industry events attended.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, and other industry associates.
  • Demonstrates effective communication through written and verbal skills.

Project Engineer Qualifications:
  • ABET accredited degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering
  • Colorado Licensed PE, SE, or ability to pursue licensure within 6 months of hire

Salary: $90,000 • $102,000 Annually
